Toddlers Banjo turns your phone or tablet into a real-sounding banjo made for small hands. Every touch makes music, so even the youngest players succeed from the very first tap.

PLAY
Eight glass-gem corn cobs hang from Rusty's porch beam, each one a note of his banjo. Tap a cob and Rusty picks it, hold it and his fingers roll round the note just like a bluegrass player, slide to the next cob to slide the note, and wiggle your finger to wobble the string. Every note pops a kernel into popcorn that flies into Rusty's bucket, and when the bucket is full, the popcorn party begins! Every note is a real recorded banjo. Record your own tune and play it back. Try more sounds: twangy banjo, magic banjo, fiddle, harmonica, guitar and kazoo.

REAL BANJO
A big five-string banjo in open G, with the short fifth string and its peg at the fifth fret. Press the strings on the neck and pick them on the drum, hold a finger on the drum and the fingers start to roll, and tap Show me a roll to hear the forward roll over G, C and D.

26 songs, from Oh! Susanna, She'll Be Coming 'Round the Mountain and the Arkansas Traveler to The Entertainer, When the Saints, Pop! Goes the Weasel, Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star and Rusty's own Porch Song and Popcorn Polka, each with its own band: bluegrass, a hoedown, a jug band, a two-step, a train song, Dixieland, ragtime, a waltz, a jig, Cajun, gospel and gentle harp lullabies.

BAND
Your child and Rusty play the banjo with a jug band in the big red barn: washboard, fiddle, guitar, jug and cowbell. Choose a groove (bluegrass, hoedown, jug band, two-step, train, Dixieland, ragtime, waltz, jig or Cajun) and every cob fits. Tap the big ROLL! button and Rusty's fingers roll through the band's chords. Add banjo tricks with one tap: ta-da, a roll, a tag, a slide, a twang, popcorn, a rooster, a choo-choo, a lullaby and a big finish.

GAMES
In Scarecrow Song every line of a song dresses up the scarecrow in the corn field: his shirt, his head, his arms, his straw hat. At the end he dances and the crows fly over to be his friends! In Giant Pumpkin, hold a cob and a rain cloud in its colour waters the pumpkin: ten notes grow a prize winner. Repeat Pepper's tunes in Copy Pepper, and tell high from low with Doodle the rooster and Gus the bullfrog in High or Low?

LULLABIES
Rusty dozes on his hay bale under the moon while sleepy sheep hop over the fence one by one, and a soft banjo plays lullabies with harp, strings and a music box. A sleep timer slowly fades the music out.
